And Dave really can't wait to do this!

Lucky

I am feeling Lucky today.

Lucky to have such a wonderfun husband that can cheer me up and help me laugh!

Lucky to have good friends that motivate me to get off my butt & get to the gym (or play tennis)

Lucky to have a job that I love (even if I've been working way too much OT lately)

Lucky that I have a vacation coming up NEXT week! Woo-Hoo!

Lucky to have my health.

Lucky to have a wonderful family who loves & supports me.

Summer of Scraplovin' Kick off Cyber Crop

I must have forgotten to tell my sweet Dave that I was planning on scrapbooking ALL DAY LONG on Saturday with Suzanne for Scraplove.com's Contest Kickoff crop...

Well he wasn't too happy with me, then I had to work today and now I have to do some major making up to get back in his good graces.

Above is the 6 Layouts I finished during the crop...I had a blast until I saw the look of disappointment on Dave's face. :(

'Scrapbook Play'

Over at Scraplove we are having weekly challenges taken from Simple Scrapbook's Special Issue: Scrapbook Play. This Layout was for challenge #26: Use a huge punctuation mark as a design element. I struggled with this one but I really like the finished product! Yay!

Work, Work, work

I just don't feel like I have a normal life Mon-Wed. Those are my 12 hr days. So if you've called me and I haven't called you back. Don't be offended. I just can't cope with regular stuff until, oh, say, Thursday of each week. Sorry. I'll post 4th of July pics soon. 'bye now!

Here are some pictures from when we went to Maple Valley Days with the Eyrings.

Sierra is getting so big! She is almost as tall as me! She just turned 13 on June 22nd and she and her friend had their first boy/girl Bday party. Fun stuff. They grow up quick.

Akex was so cute when he was going on rides at the fair. He'd give us a thumbs up or try to give Dave a high five every time he came around. What a cutie. He starts kindergarten this year!

We grabbed a chance to take a couple of family pictures of them at the park. Dylan was not being very cooperative though. Typical of a 10yr old I guess.


Dylan & Dave had a race and you can see Dave had to try really hard to beat this fast little 10yr old boy! Dylan said he cheated.
